Learning Centre - Premium Service allows individual Atlantic Canada K-12 schools unlimited video downloads of all 3,500+ full length videos in the Learning Centre library. For as low as $250 per year, per school, all teachers and school library staff in a registered school can realize the additional benefits that video downloading has to offer.

Premium Service is a yearly subscription service based on the number of students in a school:
166 or less students = $250.
167 - 599 students = $1.50 per student (ex: 240 students = $360).
600 or more students = $900.

Teachers in schools that subscribe to the Premium Service will still have free online streaming access to all Learning Centre videos. However, when a school subscribes to the Premium Service teachers in that school have the additional capability to download each title in full length video format, in addition to the option of playing the video over the internet, when they login to the site as a free access registered teacher.

Premium Service allows teachers to store any downloaded videos directly in a single lesson plan file, making it easy to store and access all associated files on their laptop by specific topic. With Premium Service you can even embed the video file directly into a full lesson plan in a PowerPoint or SMART Board presentation.

Premium Service downloaded videos can even be embedded into any SMART Board video player which allows a teacher to pause a downloaded video, draw over it, and annotate over a paused scene.

Registration for Learning Centre - Premium Service is an online / self service registration process. To register online you should first:

Choose a School Administrator - assign within your school a staff member with responsibilities for - online registration, managing teacher accesses, coordinate billing for the service, and be the schools single point of contact for administration purposes.
Choose a billing option - identify and have in hand a purchase order number and billing address; or, the appropriate credit card number and card holder information - depending on the billing option chosen.
Identify required teacher's access - identify and have in hand the *eligible Department of Education work email addresses of each teachers in your school that require video download access.
Identify the number of students - for billing purposes you will need to enter the number of students in your school.

For teachers previously registered for the free online access service - registering these teacher's work email addresses for the premium download service will automatically provide the additional download privileges / functionality the next time these teachers login, upon completion of the Premium Service registration process.

For teachers not previously registered for the free online service - upon registering these teacher's work email addresses for the premium download service an email will automatically be sent to these teacher's work email addresses with each teacher's Login ID and Password, upon completion of the Premium Service registration process. This will initiate access for these teachers to both the free online service and the premium download service the first time they login.

Upon registration each School Administrator will receive a confirmation email with details covering everything they need to know - including confirmation of teachers registered, instructions on how to update registered teachers, billing confirmation, and other relevant support information, etc.
